Apple Tree

One of my favorite photographers is Jerry Uelsmann. His work is so interesting, it is like analyzing dreams. When I created these two images, I couldn't decide for sure which one I liked better. The 2nd image seems to be a bit too much apple, so I did lean more toward the 1st. What is so amazing about this man's work? I did the images with the help of Photoshop. He - does his work with film photography and a dark room ... no software is used. Take some time to explore his work ~ it is amazing!

Another Uelsmann

This is another Jerry Uelsmann-style image. Each of the images I have used includes at least 2 or 3 different images which I merge together through Photoshop. His work is so interesting, it is like analyzing dreams. What is so amazing about this man's work? I did the images with the help of Photoshop. Pure Love

In my advanced photography class, one of the photographers I studied was Jody Dole. His work is really interesting because he takes a simple image and gives it star quality. I tried to replicate his style. His work is amazing because of their composition. When I reviewed his work, it just reminded me how important composition is.
